With the holidays approaching, students, staff and families across Palliser Regional Schools were spreading good will through acts of kindness, charity and generosity.
Whether they were collecting socks and hoodies to keep southern Albertans warm, collecting food for the area's food banks or raising money to build homes or schools in other countries, Palliser people were representing the very best of the season.
Again this year, Palliser schools were major supporters of the Samaritan's Purse campaign called Operation Christmas Child, which fills shoeboxes with toiletries, school supplies and small toys for impoverished children around the world. While several schools collected goods to fill the shoeboxes, now less than four Palliser schools sent student and staff volunteers to the Samaritan's Purse warehouse to prepare all those boxes for shipping around the globe.
