On Monday, Sept. 23, Arrowwood School had a hoop dancer! His name was Teddy Anderson. He lives in Red Deer. He has performed in 80 different countries! His performance was awesome. He did a dance with 30 hoops. Later, he called some students and staff to dance.

After the performance, each class went alone to learn how to hoop dance. Grade 1, 2 and 3/4 did one hoop. The Grade 5/6 and 7/8/9 classes did three hoops. Each hoop colour represented a different people group. Red was native, white was European, yellow was Asian, and black was African. The lesson he wanted us to learn was that we are all one big family. It was a blast!
