This year, Palliser Regional Schools is creating a new school to serve as a centre of online learning for students across the division.
Students will be able to take courses asynchronously (at their own pace) and synchronously (online with other students taking the same course).
This exciting new school has only just begun, and it needs our students’ help to get off to the best start possible.
We’re inviting students from across Palliser, from kindergarten through Grade 12, to suggest names for this new school.
For each idea a student submits, he/she will be entered into a random draw for a set of headphones suitable for computer gaming and online learning.
The deadline to enter is 5 p.m., October 15.
More information about the school is online at: http://www.pallisersd.ab.ca/online-school
The easiest way for students to enter their ideas is also online at: http://www.pallisersd.ab.ca/online-school/we-need-your-help
Go ahead and click right now and give us your best idea!
If you’d prefer to enter by fax, email, or by Palliser mail, details and entry forms have been sent to your school.
Thank you for being part of a successful start for our online school!
