Today marked a significant milestone at Coaldale Prairie Winds Secondary (CPWS) with the school's grand opening. Dignitaries from the Government of Alberta, the Town of Coaldale, and Lethbridge County joined CPWS and Palliser staff in commemorating this special event.
CPWS student Tyler McNeil served as the event’s MC, while the high school band set the tone with a performance of Fanfare for the Third Planet. Seeing it bustling with students was a moment of pride for those who worked tirelessly to bring this new school to life. As Superintendent Dave Driscoll noted in his speech, “This is a fantastic facility, but it’s the staff and students who will truly make it a remarkable school.” Minister Nathan Neudorf presented the official plaque to Palliser Board Chair Lorelei Bexte.
A special thanks go to Elder Blanche Bruised Head for her heartfelt prayer and to Jehran First Charger for his captivating dance performance.
