We are pleased to announce that Ashley Jones has accepted the role of Computer Technician, commencing November 14, 2022.
Ashley is an energetic, focused and dedicated Computer Technician who has not only a fresh up-to-date diploma in Computer Information Technology, but active experience in a School Division environment.
In May 2022, Ashley completed his diploma in Computer Information Technology from Lethbridge College. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems from Athabasca University on a part time study.
Ashley started his professional career in law enforcement as a Community Peace Officer with Alberta Health Services before he decided to transition into Information Technology. Upon completion of his Diploma in Computer Information Technology, he gained employment with Horizon School Division as a Tech Support Specialist.
“While I was not expecting to leave the Horizon School Division so soon, the opportunity to continue doing the work that I love closer to home and closer to my son was too good to pass up. I am excited to get to know everyone, and I can't wait to meet you” notes Ashley.
Ashley has a beautiful wife, Tania Jones, a four month old baby boy, Lincoln and two cats.
