Administrative Procedure 360: Student Evaluation
Student achievement in provincially prescribed courses will be evaluated regularly using a balanced program of multiple indicators and sources of evidence.
- The primary responsibility for the evaluation of student achievement rests with the principal and the teaching staff.
- The basis for evaluating student achievement shall be open, explicit and fair.
- The appeal procedure outlined in Administrative Procedure 362 – Appeals of Student Evaluation shall be readily available to students and parents.
- Information gathered in evaluating student progress will be used to improve the quality of educational programs for students.
