Representing a rural area in Vulcan County east of Highway 23/24 that includes the communities of Arrowwood, Milo, Champion, and Carmangay as well as the communities served by Calgary Christian Schools, Horizon Leadership Academy and Menno Simons Christian School in Calgary.
Lorelei and her husband, David, own and operate a small farm and Petroleum Technology Consulting Company just outside Mossleigh. They have four children: Kyle, 24; Keean, 22; William, 15; and Annalise, 14. Kyle is working towards his Masters in Geography at the University of Lethbridge. Keean is working towards a Bachelors of Science in Energy and Energy Economics at the University of Calgary. Her youngest two children attend County Central High School in Vulcan.
Lorelei has been involved with school councils for the past 17 years, and until running for trustee, was the chair at CCHS for the past two years. In March of 2016, Lorelei sat on the School Council Chair Advisory Group to help select a panel to perform an organizational review of Palliser Regional Schools. It was during this time she decided to seek the position of trustee in the 2017 election.
Lorelei has been a lifelong volunteer and currently holds potions at the club, district, regional and provincial levels of 4H. She worked for 14 years in the public and private sectors, both domestically and internationally, in the areas of finance, legal, and human resources. After her fourth child was born, she focused on what she believes has been the most rewarding career of all, being a mom to four fantastic children!
