Jackie Kark
Director of Learning
Jackie Kark received her Bachelor of Education degree, as well as a Master of Education, from the University of Alberta as well as an Instructional Leadership Certificate from the University of Calgary. She was the Principal at Granum School from 2016 to 2019 and later accepted the role of Principal at Willow Creek Composite High School.
Jackie joined the Palliser School Division in 2022. As a lifelong learner, Jackie has a strong passion for student-centered learning, inclusivity, collaboration, and for academic success for all learners.
Jackie provides leadership in the following areas:
- New Teacher -Mentorship
- New Teacher induction support
- Support the implementation of Grade 1-3 mandatory assessments for learning loss and new curriculum
- Support in capacity building on tracking measures
- Site Assurance framework alignment
