Palliser School Division is proud to be part of the growing momentum behind collegiate programming in Alberta. The Collegiate trades programs are a series of new courses and initiatives designed to give students experience with several different trades, introduce them to industry representatives and provide a sneak-peek at training with the inside scoop from those working in the field. The courses are designed to work as a part of a larger Trades Pathway and seeks to maximize the opportunity and experience for students pursuing a career in the trades.
As Director of Learning Jason Kupery shared with CBC news recently, “These programs open doors for students who thrive outside of traditional classrooms—giving purpose, confidence, and a clearer path forward.”
