Grade 6 students from Master's Academy participated in a powerful and touching Sunrise Service at the Field of Crosses along Calgary's Memorial Drive Friday. They sang the national anthem in the field where 3,000 white crosses are displayed in memory of southern Alberta soldiers who were killed in action.
The students then travelled to the Royal Canadian Legion for breakfast where they had opportunity to get to know veterans.
The Sunrise Services will continue each morning until Remembrance Day.
