Students and staff at County Central High School in Vulcan will be featured on the new episode of “A Public Education,” airing on Global Lethbridge at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, March 29.
The County Central junior high teachers and students staged a full-day health conference. Students chose the topics and teachers and community members spoke on areas of expertise.
Some of the sessions students could choose to attend included How to be a Man, Food and Nutrition, Human Sexuality, Mental Health, Drug Awareness, Post Secondary and Money Management. Lucy Thompson was lead teacher on organizing this conference.
The show will be repeated on Shaw Lethbridge through April.
