Students at Arrowwood Community School recently wrapped up a two-week book exchange, trading in books they no longer wanted to read for new titles.
Principal Jason Neville said all the books were displayed Jan. 29 and students were able to browse for books.
More than 700 books were donated, and every student chose at last three books, before the event was opened up for anyone to take as many books as they wanted.
"Some students had trouble zipping up their backpacks because of theamount of books they chose," Neville said. "It went over better than we had even hoped."
